Me Amo — Our Story
Born from the moment, I chose myself.
Some brands are born from a business plan. ME AMO was born from something far more honest — a moment of complete stillness, when everything had fallen away and only one thing remained.
My name is Hrishitaa. I am a fashion designer, a maker, and someone who has always believed that creativity is its own kind of language. But there came a time in my life when I found myself at the lowest point I had ever known. I had poured everything I had — my energy, my attention, my whole heart — into someone else. And when that chapter closed, I looked around and asked myself a question I was not prepared for.
What is left of me?
The answer, quietly and unexpectedly, was my art. It was still there. Patient, waiting, unchanged. And so I returned to it — not because I felt inspired, but because I had nothing else to hold onto. I began making things with my hands again. Slowly at first. Then with more intention. Then with everything I had left.
And somewhere in that process — in the rhythmic, meditative act of creating — I heard myself say something I had never once said before.

Not because everything was fine. Not because I had healed. But because I finally understood that the love I had been seeking from the world was something I had to learn to generate from within. That the most important relationship you will ever have is the one with yourself — and most of us spend a lifetime neglecting it.
From that realisation, a brand was born
